Documents ready. Travel with confidence.
Visiting Argentina or Paraguay is international travel, even on a same-day trip. Check every passenger’s documents before travelling.
Bring original physical travel documents
Brazilian nationals should travel with a valid passport or an accepted physical RG/CIN identity card in good condition with an identifiable photo. Phone photos, copies and digital identity documents do not replace physical travel documents. Do not rely on a driving licence for every route: any local border-transit exceptions are limited and must be checked for the itinerary.
Brazilian travellers under 18
Each child needs their own travel document. A birth certificate alone does not replace an identity card or passport for international travel. With both parents, bring proof of parentage. With one parent, valid authorisation from the absent parent is generally required. With a third party, including grandparents, authorisation from both parents is generally required. Check passport authorisations and special cases with the Brazilian Federal Police.
Check before leaving your hotel
Tell IguFalls about minors and who will accompany them. Travel authorisation must meet legal requirements; valid electronic authorisations are different from a photo of a signed document. If the passport does not show parentage, bring supporting proof. Other nationalities must check entry and visa requirements for each country.

Can I visit both the Brazilian and Argentine Falls?
Yes. You can combine both sides on separate days. The itinerary covering both sides in one day followed by Foz airport depends on your flight time, border conditions and operational confirmation.
Are transfers available from airports and bus terminals in all three countries?
Request transfers from Foz do Iguaçu (IGU), Puerto Iguazú (IGR) and Guaraní (AGT) airports, or bus terminals in Foz, Puerto Iguazú and Ciudad del Este. Tell us which country your accommodation is in.
Can I choose the language of my guide?
A guide is optional. Select Portuguese, English or Spanish. For Japanese, French, Italian or another language, enter your preference; availability and the rate will be confirmed in your proposal.
How do I request a quote?
Choose your dates, passengers and experiences for each day. Review your itinerary and send the message on WhatsApp. The team checks rates and availability before confirming.

Read the Documents and borders section before travelling. Bring the required physical travel documents and check the authorisations for Brazilian minors travelling without both parents.
